Spools made of this alloy are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate various applications. In addition to spools, this alloy is also available in strip, foil, and ribbon form.
A significant factor in determining whether a product is corrosion-resistant is the composition. Pipes made from Nikle Alloy Steel UNS 6600 (INCONEL 600 ) should contain more than 12% chromium for optimal performance.
Additionally, they should be heat-treated to increase corrosion resistance in high-temperature areas. Heat-treated 301 pipes can show signs of corrosion, and chromium carbide precipitation will reduce their chromium content.
