This super duplex stainless steel contains twenty-five percent chromium, seven percent nickel, and three percent molybdenum. The microstructure evolution in Stainless SteelS S32760 spools was studied. Both UNS S32750 and UNS S32760 steels show similar microstructure evolution. UNS S32760 steel contains slightly lower amounts of phosphorus, sulfur, and manganese than UNS S32750. However, it has higher amounts of copper and silicon. The ferrite component had a brass texture, while the austenite portion showed a weak I3 fiber.
