ASTM A193 B8T Fasteners offer increased overall corrosion resistance, superior resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, and excellent strength in a wide temperature range. These fasteners are most often used in oil and gas exploration and processing equipment. They are available in various grades. 


ASTM A193 Grade B8C Fasteners are corrosion-resistant 321 stainless steel. These fasteners meet ASTM A193 grade B8T specifications for hardness and mechanical properties. They are ideal for high-temperature environments. However, conventional alloys have high tensile strength but are susceptible to intergranular corrosion at high temperatures. 


The formation of chromium carbide in the material can cause serious damage. ASTM A193 Grade B8T Foundation Bolts display excellent mechanical properties even when exposed to extreme temperatures.
